The Tennessee Titans announced today that they will hold joint practices with the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday, August 14th, and Thursday, August 15th at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park before their preseason game on that Saturday. Joint practices have become more and more popular around the league over the last few years. It gives the teams a chance to get some live work in against another team in a controlled environment.
Last year the Titans participated in joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings in Minnesota. The New England Patriots were supposed to come to Nashville for a joint practice session but it ended up getting cancelled.
The most intriguing part of these workouts will be getting to see the Titans’ revamped cornerback room go up against DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. It will be a good test for those guys.
The preseason game between these two teams will take place at 6 PM central on that Saturday.
