According to Joe Rexrode, Derrick Henry grabbed a microphone and thanked Tennessee Titans’ fans for the “greatest eight years of his life.” King Henry has always been a class act. That might not have been his last game with the Titans, but if it was he went out with a bang. He had 153 rushing yards and a touchdown on the afternoon. That touchdown was the 90th of his career - good for a tie for 13th on the all-time list.
We don’t know what the plan is with Henry going forward. He will likely at least test the market. The chances of him coming back to the Titans are higher if Mike Vrabel is still the head coach here next season. We should find that out this week.
If that is the end for Henry with the Titans, he finishes his career here with 9,502 yards rushing and 90 rushing touchdowns. He also had four touchdown passes and three receiving touchdowns.
