Will Levis to practice tomorrow for Titans

It sounds like Will Levis might be able to play against the Texans this week.

Mike Vrabel said today that Will Levis will likely practice tomorrow on a limited basis for the Tennessee Titans. That’s an improvement over last week where he missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. It would be really good for Levis to be able to get live game reps in these last two weeks starting on Sunday against the Houston Texans.

Here is what Mike Vrabel had to say about that (via Jim Wyatt):

“I think those are invaluable reps,” Vrabel said of Levis getting more experience if he’s able to return. “I would anticipate a great road environment (in Houston), playing on the road in a loud environment and being able to handle the operation and work the offense, I think that’s something that is always critical. I want everyone that could play to possibly play.”

The Titans finish the season on the road at Houston and at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. I’d love for the Titans to be able to play spoiler in that final game and keep the Jaguars out of the playoffs.

Whatever it takes for us not to have to see Ryan Tannehill back out there is good with me.

It will be interesting to see if there is any line movement if it is announced that Levis is able to play. The Titans are currently +3.5 over at DraftKings Sportsbook. That line came out with the status of both Levis and C.J. Stroud uncertain. Stroud didn’t play in the first matchup between these two teams. Levis did play and threw for 199 yards with no touchdowns and an interception.
