“I am feeling better than I did yesterday, which is all I am looking to do, to get my body in the best spot to be able to play,” Levis said. “I am playing if I am able to, and I am just working to try and get to that point. … I definitely feel a lot better than I did Sunday, Monday, and hopefully it continues to go that way.”
If Levis cannot go, Mike Vrabel said yesterday that Ryan Tannehill will be the starting quarterback on Sunday. It makes more sense to me to play Malik Willis, but I get why the team would go back to Tannehill.
I love that Levis is pushing to get back out on the field even with the Titans being eliminated from playoff contention. The worst thing that could happen would be for Levis to sustain a more serious injury that holds him out of the offseason program, but you can’t hold him out just because you are scared of that. If he is healthy it is rally valuable for him to get as much playing experience as possible.
