Can Derrick Henry continue his dominance of the Texans on Sunday?

The King loves to run against Houston

In his career, Derrick Henry has rushed for more than 200 yards against the Houston Texans four different times. That is the most he has done it against any team. While he has dominated all of the teams in the division, the Texans are the team that he has put up the craziest numbers against. Can he do it again on Sunday?

The game script could set up for that. Now that C.J. Stroud has been ruled out, the Tennessee Titans are 3.5-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook. A home favorite running back is usually a pretty safe bet for a good game. Never mind the fact that we have now entered the month of Dehenber. The rushing yardage numbers this month don’t jump off the page, but he does have four touchdowns in two games.

However, this isn’t the same Texans’ defense of the last few years. Whereas in years past they were getting gashed by running backs on a weekly basis, this year they haven’t allowed a back to gain more than 88 yards against them all season.

Add to that the fact that Tyjae Spears is more involved this season than any back has been here in a long time, and you probably won’t see Henry rush for 200+ here. He’s still a great bet to go over his 67.5 prop at DK and score a touchdown (-145 anytime TD).
