The Tennessee Titans have opened as a 2-point home underdog against the Indianapolis Colts. This might be the closest the Titans are in an opening odds post for the rest of the season. It should be noted that Tennessee has won 4 straight games at Nissan Stadium while not winning anywhere else in the world over the last year.
Indianapolis comes into this game at 6-5 having won three straight after losing the three before that. Gardner Minshew has kept his team in the hunt after he took over for Anthony Richardson - who was lost for the year the first time these two teams met.
One of the first things I look at when the lines come out is the total for Titans games. The total here opened at 42.5 but has since moved to 43. I would have taken the under at 42.5, so I certainly will take it at 43. The first game ended 23-16. That, obviously, would hit the under.
It will be interesting to see how the Titans come out in this one. They have had good success at home and have quite a few games left at home this year. If they could sweep the remaining home games and split the remaining road games, they might find themselves in the mix.
That sounds fun, but this team has no shot at actually doing that.
