Titans Reacts Week 8: Grade the Kevin Byard trade

The Titans made major news this week when they traded Kevin Byard to the Philadelphia Eagles. Tennessee got a 5th and 6th round picks plus safety Terrell Edmunds from Philadelphia for Byard. Would we have liked more for Byard? Sure, but there is only so much teams are willing to give up for a safety on the backend of his career.

Then there is, of course, the confidence question. Does it give you some confidence in the direction of the team that they are willing to trade off a piece before the deadline that is probably not going to still be productive when the next window opens? That is something for you to think about as you vote this week.
