Mike Vrabel said today that Nicholas Petit-Frere will work with the ones at left tackle in practice this week. He took over for Andre Dillard after halftime in the Tennessee Titans' loss to the Baltimore Ravens in London. NPF wasn’t great but was better than Dillard has been this season - not exactly a high bar, but it is something.

The Dillard experiment has been a failure. It wasn’t a terrible signing. There was reason to believe that Dillard had a chance to be a serviceable left tackle. It just didn’t work out that way. Now the team gets a chance to see if NPF can be their left tackle of the future.

Vrable was also asked if the team would be willing to give Peter Skoronski a look at left tackle. He shut that down pretty quickly.

What if Will Levis comes in and plays well at quarterback and NPF plays well at left tackle? The odds of that happening aren’t great, but if it played out that way the Titans would be well on their road to opening their next Super Bowl window.
