Mike Vrabel talked about the competition at right tackle in today’s press conference. He mentioned that he’s not ready to name a starter despite the Week 1 contest with the Arizona Cardinals being just days away.
Vrabel: Not ready to name a starter at right tackle. @Titans

We know who the three guys in the mix for that spot - Kendall Lamm, David Quessenberry, and Ty Sambrailo. All three of them logged snaps at the position throughout the team’s three preseason games. Lamm, who entered the summer as the favorite to win the job, but is just coming off an injury. It opened up an opportunity for Quessenberry and Sambrailo to impress the coaching staff.
Rookie second-round pick Dillon Radunz is not an option.
It’s possible that Vrabel knows exactly who will be starting at RT, but is trying to hold onto that information. Some coaches see it as a way to gain a competitive advantage.
Who would you like to see start at right tackle? As always, we’re interested in your opinion.
