The Tennessee Titans activated tight end Geoff Swaim from the Reserve/COVID-19 list and waived cornerback Chris Jones and linebacker Justin March-Lillard, per Jim Wyatt and the team.

Swaim joins the likes of Ryan Tannehill and Jeremy McNichols to re-join the team from the Covid list. Ben Jones and Nate Davis are two notable players that are still on the list, but head coach Mike Vrabel said he hopes to get them back later this week.
In a pair of corresponding moves, Jones and March-Lillard were waived, as mentioned above. Jones was a surprise inclusion on the team’s 53-man roster a week ago. Jones originally signed with the Titans back in April of this year. Jones originally broke into the league as an undrafted free agent with the Lions in 2018. He’s since then played for the Cardinals and Vikings. In 22 career games, Jones has recorded 41 tackles and six passes defended. The Titans would probably like to get Jones back on the practice squad, but could face some competition from teams around the league. The Titans’ Week 1 opponent, the Arizona Cardinals are thin at cornerback and Jones has played there before. They strike me as a team to watch here.
March-Lillard was actually activated from the Reserve-Covid list and then waived. He wasn’t taking up a spot on the 53-man roster. He strikes me as another practice squad candidat
