Tennessee Titans cornerback Caleb Farley showed some really good things during the team’s first joint practice against the defending Super Bowl Champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The team has eased Farley in thus far. They’re playing things safe as he continues to recover from back surgery. Farley was held out of the early portion of training camp, and didn’t play in the team’s first preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.
He’s not ready,” Vrabel told the NFL Network’s Michael Giardi just a few days ago. “Physical and mental, in all phases. He is just not ready. He hasn’t had as much practice as everybody else has and there have been some really bright spots. He is a quick learner and corrects things, but some of these young guys have to be out there practicing. He is focused and locked in, and he’s doing everything that we ask him to do. We will see where he is after the next few practices and hopeful that his reps will increase.”
As clips continue to emerge from the first day of practice against Tom Brady and the Bucs, it’s fair to start wondering if Farley is close to increasing his workload.
Gronk just double bobbled high pass heading toward right sideline and Caleb Farley picked it out of air. Brady throw. #Titans.

The Titans will practice against the Bucs once again later today. We’re excited to monitor the team’s progress in what should be another excellent measuring stick. The two teams will then meet this Saturday for the second preseason game.
