The Titans announced this afternoon that they have place OLB Bud Dupree on the Reserve-COVID-19 list. That doesn’t necessarily mean he has tested positive for COVID. It could be because of a close contact with someone who tested positive. Dupree opened camp on the PUP list while rehabbing his torn ACL.
There isn’t much to takeaway from this news. It means he won’t be able to be in the building until he clears the protocols. We don’t know where he falls on those protocols because we don’t know if he is a close contact or tested positive. We also don’t know if he is vaccinated or not. There are so many moving parts with this.
The only good news here is that he was placed on this list in late July. That means, unless he is going on the same COVID list that Isaiah Wilson went on last year, he will be cleared in plenty of time for the start of the season.
