Titans training camp day 2 updates

The kickers continue to be underwhelming.

By my estimation, there are about three starting positions up for grabs in this Titans training camp - right tackle, a defensive line spot, and kicker. We haven’t heard much about the right tackle spot just yet. We have heard that both Teair Tart and Larrell Murchison had really good offseasons. The kickers, well, they are performing about like you would expect:

I said it again today on Homerun Throwback Daily (listen here), Stephen Gostkowski will be your opening day kicker. I’m not sure why they don’t have him in camp now.

A.J. Brown was highlighted by everyone in attendance today. The Titans have two legitimate wide receiver ones on the team. I never thought I’d live to see the day.

Deshone Kizer reportedly had a rough day. There was some talk that he could push Logan Woodside to be the backup quarterback. That isn’t happening so far. Both guys figure to get plenty of run in the preseason because we probably won’t see much of Ryan Tannehill.
