Jon Robinson did a quick press conference this morning and told the media that the Titans are 90% vaccinated. That means they are one of ten teams in the league that has reached that threshold. That should mean they are clear of having any issues come up where they would be forced to forfeit a game.
As I mentioned in this morning’s Homerun Throwback Daily podcast (listen here) (Subscribe, Rate, Review), I am really ready for the conversation to move past things involving COVID. It has dominated all of our lives for the majority of the last year and a half. This is a good first step in having that happen from a Titans perspective.
However, as we have seen with some players in baseball, being vaccinated doesn’t mean you won’t test positive for COVID, but the process of getting back on the field is so much easier if a player is vaccinated.
Just as a note, all of this is presented from a football competitive standpoint and nothing else.
