The Tennessee Titans made a couple of roster announcements to start training camp on Wednesday morning.

Tennessee placed veteran cornerback Chris Jones on the reserve/COVID-19 list. In a corresponding move, the team signed DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun.

Jones signed with the Titans back in April of this year. Jones originally broke into the league as an undrafted free agent with the Lions in 2018. He’s since then played for the Cardinals and Vikings. In 22 career games, Jones has recorded 41 tackles and six passes defended.

Jones will have to sit out camp until he clears the required NFL COVID-19 protocols. It is unknown if he tested positive or was exposed to a positive person and isn’t vaccinated.

Boddy-Calhoun (5-9, 193) is a five-year NFL veteran. He broke into the league as an undrafted free agent with the Jaguars in 2016. He’s since then played for the Browns, Colts, 49ers and Texans. He’s appeared in 47 career games, with 22 starts. He’s totaled 148 tackles, three sacks, and three interceptions, along with 19 passes deflected. Boddy-Calhoun played in college at Minnesota.
