New Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones will NOT be wearing No. 11, per A.J. Brown.
#11 until I retire . I tried to give it up and he wouldn’t take it . Respect

This is great news for those of you who already have your Brown jerseys. As for Jones, the former Falcons WR is officially looking for a new number. Jones had previously worn No. 11 during his entire NFL career thus far.
All those photoshopped pictures in the days after Jones was traded to Tennessee with him wearing a No. 8 Titans jersey may just be accurate after all.
Remember that Jones could decide to wear No. 8 (which he wore in college at Alabama) since the NFL voted this offseason to undo its restrictions on what number positional players can wear. Receivers are now allowed to wear any number beteen 1-49 and 80-89.
Stay tuned to MCM for confirmation on Jones’ new number. It’s coming today.
