Jon Robinson, who reportedly got this deal really moving from a pontoon boat on Percy Priest lake Saturday, has assembled an offense like nothing we have seen since the Titans moved here in the late 90’s. Albert Breer has a really good article breaking down the whole history of what made Julio Jones want out of Atlanta. It goes all the way back to contract negotiations in 2017. It hit a high note when the Falcons moved on from Dan Quinn back in October. I would like to thank everyone who had a hand in making him unhappy in Atlanta. You are the real heroes.
The Titans are now a legitimate Super Bowl contender. They have the best offensive skill group in the league. Think about that for a second. The team that once ran out a receiver group with Kendall Wright as the #1 now has two legitimate #1 receivers. The times have certainly changed.
You probably saw yesterday on Twitter some people making fools of themselves talking about how Julio would be wasted coming to a team with Ryan Tannehill as the quarterback. Those people clearly haven’t watched Tannehill since he came to the Titans. There is no sense in even engaging with those people. The play on the field will prove them wrong.
