The Julio Jones trade rumors are about to hit a whole new level. The star Falcons wide receiver was on Undisputed earlier today and said that he is out of Atlanta. He also said that he doesn’t want to play for the Cowboys. That shows that he is thinking logically.
Look, he probably isn’t coming to the Titans, I know that, but the people acting like it is impossible for the Titans to get it done because of the salary cap don’t know what they are talking about. The Titans have plenty of contracts that they can do a simple re-work on that can free up a ton of money.
The real question here is what does Julio have left at this point in his career. The Titans are in a window where they can win a championship right now. That window is probably two more years maximum with the core they currently have on offense with Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill. If they think Julio can still produce at a high level for the next two years, they should absolutely be talking to the Falcons about a deal.
