The Tennessee Titans have filled their need at right tackle tonight in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Jon Robinson went with Dillon Radunz out of North Dakota State at pick No. 53, choosing to address the right tackle situation ahead of the need at wide receiver.
Radunz will now join the battle at right tackle, along with Ty Sambrailo and Kendall Lamm. Of course, right tackle remains a need following the disastrous selection of Isaiah Wilson last year in the first round.
Radunz had 32 career starts at North Dakota State. He was initially recruited as a defensive lineman, entering the program weighing just 265 pounds. He enters the league now at 6-5, 301 pounds.
Can he become an immediate starter for the Titans? That remains to be seen. But the team has plenty of options surrounding him, easing his transition into the league.
Tennessee has two more picks left tonight — 85 and 100 overall.
