Todd McShay has put out his final 2021 NFL mock draft of the 2021 NFL draft season. This time he has the Titans trading down with the Buffalo Bills to number 30. McShay doesn’t give the details of the trade. I would hope they picked up another pick in the top 100.
The Titans used the pick to select Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech. Farley is obviously a stud. Based on pure talent, he might be the best cornerback in the draft. The problem, as you know, is that there are medical concerns with Farley. He has already had two back surgeries and there are rumors he might need another one.
My prediction is that he doesn’t go in the first round tonight. The combination of the surgeries and teams not being able to have their own doctors examine him will cause him to slide. Honestly, I will be terrified if he is the Titans’ first round pick.
Here is what McShay had to say about the pick:
When healthy, Farley is perhaps the best cover corner in the class. It’s tough not to go receiver here, but the Titans also just lost Adoree’ Jackson, Malcolm Butler and Desmond King II from their cornerback group.
What are your thoughts on Farley in the first round?
