Mel Kiper and Todd McShay dueling NFL mock draft

NCAA Football: Mississippi at Vanderbilt Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

The traditional three-round dueling NFL mock draft from Todd McShay and Mel Kiper is here! I know this is basically Christmas for everyone currently reading this page. It just doesn’t get any better.

This draft features five quarterbacks picked in the top ten. It is interesting that the third pick has shifted from Mac Jones to Justin Fields across the internet. You all know I love Jones, but I can’t fathom taking him if I need a quarterback with Fields still on the board.

As for the Titans in this draft, I like what they did in the first two rounds. The first pick at #22, made by McShay, was Elijah Moore. The Titans have a lot of needs, but it is imperative that they add another playmaker to the passing game in this draft. Moore definitely fits that bill.

The second pick at #53, made by Kiper, was Eric Stokes. That pick hits a huge need because the Titans absolutely have to walk away from this draft with a corner that can step in and play right away.

The pick at 85 was a tight end, Pat Freiermuth from Penn State. That pick is whatever to me. I guess getting a guy that could possibly replace Jonnu Smith’s production in the third round is pretty good value.

The pick at #100 was Hamsah Nasirildeen, S, Florida State. My issue here is that he won’t be a starter day one. I need them to come away with four players in the first four picks that can play. Give me and EDGE guy or even a defensive lineman here.

What do you think about this draft for the Titans?
