Paul Kuharsky is reporting that the Titans have signed Anthony Firkser to a one-year deal:
#Titans have a one-year deal with Anthony Firkser.

Firkser was a restricted free agent, so it was always assumed that he would be back with the team one way or another. The Titans decided to go ahead and sign him to a contract instead of giving him a tender.
It will be interesting to see if Firkser’s role in the offense changes at all. He has been really good as a receiver for this team. There have been plenty of games where he stepped up and gave them help when Jonnu Smith was out. The issue is that he isn’t an inline blocker, so his path to playing time is always going to be somewhat limited.
The tight end room is starting to take shape. They re-signed Geoff Swaim to a 1-year deal yesterday and Firkser today. My guess is that MyCole Pruitt gets the same some time in the next few days.
