Titans release Adoree Jackson and Dennis Kelly

I have to admit that I didn’t see these coming. Jim Wyatt was the first to report that the Titans are releasing Adoree Jackson and Dennis Kelly. Yesterday they fixed the pass rush. Today they finished the job of blowing up the secondary.

The Dennis Kelly one might be even more surprising. They only save about $3 million by cutting him. He started for the Titans last year and played really well for the most part. He was banged up at the end of the year. Maybe they aren’t satisfied with the health of his knee? Maybe the same for Adoree?

The Titans had a huge need at corner this morning. I don’t even know what the word is now to describe their need there now. Right now you have pretty much no experience at corner on the roster. Sure, we hope Kristian Fulton will be really good, but we just don’t know yet.
