The Titans have re-signed TE Geoff Swaim, per John Glennon of Broadway Sports Media:
#Titans have re-signed TE Geoff Swaim to a one-year deal.

It’s a good move. Swaim was a relatively late addition to the Titans roster last season, signing with the team back in mid-August.
Swaim began to play a role on a weekly basis as the year went by, especially when fellow tight end MyCole Pruitt had to miss a few games while dealing with COVID-19. Swaim and Pruitt possess similar skill-sets.
Swaim is an excellent blocker and was often used as an in-line tight end at the line of scrimmage. On many occasions, just like Pruitt does, Swaim helped catapult a couple of big Derrick Henry runs.
By the end of the season, the Titans were rolling with four tight ends on the active gameday roster on a weekly basis. Swaim is also an underrated pass catcher. The defense doesn’t really expect him to get the ball when he’s on the field, and the Titans took advantage of that on occasion.
As long as Henry is on this roster, No. 22 will remain the vocal point of the offense. That means there will always be a place for players like Swaim on this team.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Pruitt now, given that he’s an unrestricted free agent as well.
