[UPDATE 9:50 AM] - Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith will both be playing elsewhere in 2021 according to Dianna Russini.
Today opens the free agency negotiation period. We don’t call it legal tampering here because that is an oxymoron. Starting at 11 AM central this morning teams can negotiate with free agents from other teams. Deals cannot actually be signed until Wednesday at 3 PM central.
That means that as of the time of this writing, the Titans have about an hour and a half to sign guys like Jonnu Smith, Corey Davis, and Jayon Brown before they can start negotiating with other teams. My guess is those guys are gone if a deal isn’t done before then. It’s tough to put that toothpaste back in the tube.
I would caution you to not get too high or low based on reports we see throughout the day today. Most people won’t listen to that, but a Super Bowl won’t be won or lost today.
This thread will be updated throughout the day as news becomes available.
