2020 NFL Re-Draft

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans Steve Roberts-USA TODAY Sports

How much money do you think Jon Robinson would pay to have a chance to actually have a chance for a do-over of the 2020 draft? That number is probably in the millions. Easily.

Well ESPN did a re-draft of the first two rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft. It went better for the Titans, but you already knew that. In fact, the Titans could skip their first-round pick and it would still be better than the Isaiah Wilson pick. They could have picked just about any of the 200+ players picked after Wilson in the draft and it would have been better.

Anyway, Turron Davenport played the role of Jon Robinson in this re-draft. He did a nice job!

In the first round, he selected K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU with the 29th pick. Sure, Chaisson only had one sack in 2020, but Isaiah Wilson....well you get the picture. Here is what TD had to say about the pick:

The Titans add long-term help at OLB by selecting Chaisson. They did some pre-draft work on Chaisson, and he fits an immediate need even though they added Vic Beasley Jr. on a one-year deal. Chaisson gives them a bookend player who can pressure the quarterback off the edge.

TD stuck with the Kristian Fulton pick in the second round. We didn’t get to see much of Fulton this year because of injuries, but we all liked his potential when he came out. We haven’t seen anything on the field to make us think he won’t be good.
