Tom Pelissero of NFL Network is reporting that the Titans “are releasing” WR Adam Humphries:
The #Titans are releasing WR Adam Humphries, source said.

The move saves Tennessee about $4.47M in cap space, and Humphries -- a big-ticket signing two years ago who's still only 27 -- gets a jump start on the market.
It sucks that it didn’t work out for Humphries here. I really liked the signing when it happened. Humphries showed that he could play here when he was healthy. Unfortunately that just wasn’t very often.
This move makes sense for the Titans, but they have some pretty big holes on offense right now. Humphries is out. Corey Davis and Jonnu Smith are set to become free agents. That’s a lot of potential change to an offense that carried the team last year (of course not as much with Humphries because he was hurt).
Oh, and the defense is still bad.
Jon Robinson has a lot of stuff to get done between now and when the league year opens, not to mention everything he will have to do in free agency. Last offseason was bad, real bad. What will this one look like?
