The Titans have officially signed Adrianus Lewis Peterson to the practice squad. The move was reported yesterday but wasn’t official until this morning. They also signed running back D’Onta Foreman to the practice squad. The Adrianus Lewis Peterson signing has been pretty well covered at this point. I really like the news that Foreman is back as well. He was with the Titans for part of the season last year.
The above linked article also mentions that the Titans cut Avery Williamson. His second stint with the Titans was pretty short-lived. Apparently the team does not intend on replacing Rashaan Evans with Williamson.
Preseason darling, Mekhi Sargent, was released from the practice squad. There wasn’t room for that many running backs on the practice squad. Adrianus Lewis Peterson and Foreman certainly project better filling in for Derrick Henry.
Lastly defensive back Nate Brooks and defensive lineman Niles Scott have been added to the practice squad in place of Caraun Reid and Eli Ankou.
