[UPDATE 1:30 PM] - Deshaun Watson will be staying with the Texans. They are going to pay him millions to not play. Nice job!

[UPDATE 11:07 AM] - Texans have made their first trade of the day. We at MCM appreciate them for making their 2021 team ever worse:

[UPDATE 9:51 AM] - As expected the Texans are open to trading just about anyone on their roster:

The NFL trade deadline is today at 3 PM central. We will finally get an answer on if the Texans are going to be able to move Deshaun Watson. It appears unlikely at this point but deadlines spur action. If he does get moved, the most likely destination seems to be the Miami Dolphins. Otherwise, the Texans will continue to pay him millions of dollars to do nothing. I hope that is what happens.

The biggest move that we will see has probably already happened. In case you missed it yesterday in all of the Derrick Henry news, the Los Angeles Rams traded a 2nd and 3rd round pick to the Denver Broncos for Von Miller. Miller gets to L.A. just in time for the Titans to see him on Sunday Night Football this week. I’m sure Ryan Tannehill is really excited about that!

One move has already been made this morning - the Pittsburgh Steelers are sending EDGE Melvin Ingram to the Kanas City Chiefs for a 6th round pick.

I don’t expect the Titans to make a big move today. They already signed Adrian Peterson to fill in for Henry. They could use an upgrade at corner, wide receiver and/or tight end, but with Jon Robinson already having traded a 2nd for Julio, it seems unlikely that he would be willing to part with anything other than a late day three pick.

We will keep you updated on any moves that are made in this thread.
