The Tennessee Titans are up north today, set for a date with the worst team in football — the New York Jets. The Titans are 2-1, coming off of big wins against the Colts and Seahawks to rebound from week one. They’ll try to keep it going today, but they’re going to have to do it without two key parts of their puzzle.
Both Julio Jones and A.J. Brown are out today, leaving plenty of responsibility on Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry’s shoulders. They were able to get it done last week without much help from either one, can they do it again today?
Thankfully, they drew the Jets at the perfect time. Rookie quarterback Zach Wilson will look to right the ship today, but it’s been a struggle to this point. The Titans should have some opportunities defensively, despite some key injuries on that side of the ball as well.
This is a survive and advance spot for the Titans, who are looking for a 3-1 start to 2021.
