Paul Kuharsky is reporting that both Caleb Farley and Cam Batson suffered torn ACLs in the 34-31 win over the Buffalo Bills last night. The Titans have had unbelievably bad injury luck to begin this season. It continued last night with these two injuries plus Julio Jones, Taylor Lewan and Chris Jackson not being able to finish the game.
The Titans are really thin at corner at this point. There will have to be some roster shuffling this week because they were already down at the position with Kristian Fulton being placed on injured reserve before last night’s game.
Farley saw his most extensive playing time of the season last night. The 2020 first-round pick came in recovering from a back procedure and missed time in camp and earlier in the season with various injuries. Hopefully he can rehab and be ready to go for 2021 training camp.
Batson had done a nice job for this team as a return man. He was also a guy they could use for some trickery on offense. With Julio’s status uncertain and the loss of Batson, the Titans will also be looking for some receiver help this week.
