Deshaun Watson officially requests a trade

Well it’s officially official now I guess. Deshaun Watson has officially requested a trade from the Houston Texans. He has a no trade clause, so if the Texans do decide to trade him he will have some say in where he ends up. There are all kinds of rumors about where he wants to be. For now, we will just sit back and watch the show.

Of course, the hope is that he gets traded out of the division. The Texans wouldn’t want to trad him in the division....would they? I’m a little worried that the Jaguars could try to package a deal with the #1 overall pick for Watson. Look, we all think Trevor Lawrence is going to be good, but if it were up to me I would rather have Watson. You know what he can do at the NFL level.

There is also the Colts who need a quarterback. Now I would put them further down the list of teams that are likely to get Watson because they don’t have the high pick in this year’s draft or a quarterback to trade for him. Indianapolis is much more likely a landing spot for Matthew Stafford.

It’s really amazing how this has all played out. How bad does an organization have to be run to get to the point where they can’t make their 25-year old, franchise quarterback happy? You hate to see it. #notreally
