The Tennessee Titans continue to tinker with their roster despite already cutting it down to the mandatory number of 53.
In a piece of unfortunate news, safety Dane Cruikshank has been placed on Injured Reserve. The good news is that in 2020, that doesn’t mean that his season is over.
Under the NFL’s new Injured Reserve rules, a player can be recalled to the active roster after three games, which means Cruikshank would be eligible to return following Tennessee’s game against the Minnesota Vikings in late September.
Cruikshank is an excellent special teams player, but the Titans have plenty of good special teams players.
In corresponding moves, the Titans agreed to terms with running back Senorise Perry and cornerback Chris Milton. Both players went through training camp with the Titans and were released this past Saturday.
