Titans have one additional positive COVID test

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Various reports this morning say the Titans had one more positive COVID-19 test in yesterday’s round of testing. Just like yesterday we will find out who that player most likely is when the transaction wire is released for the NFL this afternoon. Yesterday we saw the Titans move Beau Brinkley, DaQuan Jones and Tommy Hunter to the COVID-19 list after the reports of 3 positive tests from players.

Ideally there would have been zero additional positive cases but one isn’t the end of the world. If the number remains around here following today’s tests, my guess is they will play on Sunday against the Steelers. It’s not ideal that the Steelers are practicing and the Titans aren’t, but there hasn’t been much ideal about 2020.

There have still been zero positive tests for the Vikings. That is a good news going forward because it doesn’t mean you automatically have to shut down both teams.

Like I said yesterday, we will update things here as news comes out.
