Today has been a crazy day. So crazy, in fact, that I almost forgot about Taylor Lewan getting hurt on Sunday against the Vikings. Of course I didn’t actually forget, but I thought about it less than I otherwise would have.
With all of that being said, Tom Pelissero brings us good news on the Lewan injury front:
#Titans LT Taylor Lewan, who went down in visible pain Sunday in Minnesota, avoided a major injury, per sources. Too early to say whether he plays this week against Pittsburgh -- assuming there is a game against Pittsburgh -- but optimism it’s a short-term deal.

Lewan is one of the best players on the Titans, so in case you didn’t know, the fact that he will be back sooner than later is extremely good news for this team.
At this point we have no idea what the injury report will look like for the Titans this week. Will they go with one of those simulated injury reports like teams do on Monday when they have the Thursday night game? Will they just not put anything out at all? That is something else we will be monitoring as the week goes progresses.
