Nashville Mayor John Cooper, fresh off the heels of a report that he has been hiding how low some COVID numbers were in Nashville, has announced that he will allow the Titans to host fans for their home games in October. Those games include the October 4th game against the Steelers, the October 11th game against the Bills and the October 18th game against the Texans.
The current plan allows for 10% capacity at the Steelers game, 12.5% capacity at the Bills game and 15% capacity at the Texans game. You can read the stadium policies put out by the Titans here.
This is really great news. There is no reason that there shouldn’t be fans in attendance at the game on Sunday, but at least now we know there will be in October. An outdoor stadium at a diminished capacity can easily meet all of the CDC standards for safe social distancing, etc.
