Jadeveon Clowney is a huge Mike Vrabel fan

Jadeveon Clowney just finished up his first media availability session since joining the Tennessee Titans. The one thing that really stood out to me was how many good things he had to say about Mike Vrabel. Here was the best quote:

“If theres one thing I know about Vrabel, it’s that his team is gonna play hard and fly around and that’s something I need to be a part of at this point in my career”

He made so many references to the way that Vrabel used him when they were together in Houston. The thing we keep hearing people say about Clowney is that he is a “game-wrecker.” That is especially true when the coach puts him in positions to wreck the game. Vrabel is certainly going to do that.

It remains to be seen how many plays Clowney will play in Denver. He made reference in his interview to the difference between being in workout shape and football shape. That will be especially true in the altitude in Denver.

However many plays we see him on Monday night against the Broncos, I think it is clear that he will be used all over the field throughout the year.
