Titans place Jack Crawford on COVID-19 list

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Atlanta Falcons Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

One former Falcons defender is in and one former Falcons defender is out. Jim Wyatt is reporting that the Titans have placed Jack Crawford on the COVID-19 list. We don’t know if this means that Crawford tested positive for the disease or if he was just in contact with someone who has. We will probably have a pretty good idea of which it is based on how long he is out.

This is the kind of stuff that is going to be coming up while playing football during a pandemic. First off, we hope that Crawford and everyone close to him is ok. Secondly, if a player has to go on the list, better now than in-season.

Crawford signed a 1-year $1.18 million dollar contract this offseason. He has been quite the journeyman during his 8-year NFL career playing for the Raiders, Cowboys and Falcons. He will be a depth piece for the Titans on the defensive line.
