Ryan Tannehill misses Titans practice while Derrick Henry starts and stops

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Oakland Raiders Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Well if you were worried that COVID was going to make Mike Vrabel be more forthcoming with the media about things going on with the team during training camp, you can rest assured that it has not. Ryan Tannehill was not seen by the media at practice today. Vrabel was asked about it after practice. He said that Tannehill was accounted for and they expected him back tomorrow.

Later he was asked about Derrick Henry who started practice but left at one point, taking his pads off, to ride a stationary bike. He then put his pads back on and returned to watch practice. Paul Kuharsky pointed out that typically when a guy is injured he goes inside and doesn’t come back out.

When Vrabel was asked about Henry after practice he responded by once again pointing out an imaginary suggestion box that is on “Stretch’s (Vrabel’s right-hand man) desk.” That seemed like a weird response to the question, but hey that is Mike Vrabel when it comes to injuries.

The good news here is that it doesn’t seem like either guy has an injury that will keep him out long-term.
