Yesterday Melo told you that the Titans moved Vic Beasley to the Non-Football Injury list. That was because he failed his physical. If you aren’t familiar with the timeline, once Beasley finally reported last week he had to pass 3 COVID tests in 4 days before taking his physical. He obviously passed those tests but not his physical.
It gets a little messy after that. They put him on the non-football injury list - which by it’s name suggests that he has an injury. Allan Bell had this report:
I’m told Vic Beasley’s failed physical is nothing more than extra conditioning the #Titans can get out of him as he begins his career with the club.

Few bright and early morning sessions should clear it right up.
This makes me wonder how subjective the physical is. We have heard in the past about a running test where a guy had to run a certain number of sprints in a certain amount of time. Is that the same for every position group? I honestly don’t know the answer to that.
There is still a lot of time before a down of football is played, but I’m not feeling great about Beasley’s prospects at this point. Hopefully he will change my mind.
