This is a post I have thought about planning daily for a while. It’s going to be called “What I read today.” It will focus on different articles that caught my attention throughout the day. Some will be about sports and some won’t. It will hopefully be something that helps us all do a little more reading and broaden our horizons.
The first thing I want to point out a book I recently finished called Mindset. This is a fantastic read for anyone that leads an organization, coaches or is breathing.
Some teachers in Williamson County here in Tennessee have started their own school. There is a big opportunity for this kind of stuff with everything that is going on. I love seeing people that see a need and create a business to meet that need. It is good for everyone!
On a day dominated by college football talk, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey had some really good thoughts:
Best advice I’ve received since COVID-19: “Be patient. Take time when making decisions. This is all new & you’ll gain better information each day.” @SEC has been deliberate at each step since March...slowed return to practice...delayed 1st game to respect start of fall semester..
