Kevin Byard was already a leader on the football field for the Titans, but now he’s expanding his leadership off the field too. Byard was selected as the United Way of Greater Nashville’s official spokesperson. Being able to use his platform as an athlete to do good in the community is always something to respect.
The Packers signed Jordan Love to a deal no pick at his slot has ever gotten. Fully guaranteed. The Packers are all in on Love to replace Rodgers after 2023, I suppose. Interesting strategy, and one I guess we will have to wait to see if it pays off long term. Matt LaFleur and Co. are certainly shooting themselves in the foot in the short term.
It sounds like the NFL preseason will be shortened to just 2 games. That means we would see less Cole McDonald, however, the NFLPA has not signed off on that deal yet. I’m interested to see the other sports that kick off this month and how they do, dealing with COVID-19.
