The Titans and Derrick Henry are finalizing a deal ahead of today’s 3 PM deadline for players who received the franchise tag to agree to a long-term deal according to Adam Schefter:

I said yesterday that a 3-year deal with guaranteed money in the $25-28 million dollar range would really make sense for both sides. It wouldn’t put the Titans in cap jeopardy if the production falls off, and it guarantees Henry the money he will get on the next 2 franchise tags.
