Titans News: Raised a Titan

NFL.com lists a “homegrown” player for each team that needs to make an impact in 2020. Jonnu Smith is the guy they list for the Titans, noting his supreme YAC ability and clear-cut path to a starting role.

Harold Landry’s snap count will be reduced if all goes to plan in 2020. Landry had 9 sacks through 12 games last year, but then went sackless in the last 4. Getting Landry some backup was key this offseason and re-signing Correa and adding Beasley was a good start. When they add Clowney, it’ll be even better.

Which rookie running backs will be the most productive? NFL.com says CEH, Taylor, and Swift will be the top three.

Jurrell Casey says that the Titans discarded him like trash. It’s unfortunate that the Titans traded Casey away, but it makes sense given the amount of money he is making and the plans they have for Big Jeff. This was a Patriots type move where you get rid of a guy a year early than a year late. I do feel for the guy, who wanted to spend his entire career with the Titans.
