Today we continue our process of grading the Tennessee Titans picks from the 2020 NFL Draft with the Darrynton Evans pick. This was probably my second favorite pick of the draft behind the Kristian Fulton pick. The Titans desperately needed a guy that could complement Derrick Henry. Evans appears to be exactly that guy.
Evans, who I will be calling the rich man’s Dion Lewis, also gives the Titans more speed on offense - which they desperately needed. He won’t be limited to just 3rd downs and giving Henry a break. Arthur Smith can use him out of the slot to create mismatches, and we know that today’s NFL is all about creating mismatches.
