Ryan has of course been with the Titans for the past 3 seasons. He said goodbye to the team last week on Instagram, and told the McCourty brothers on a recent podcast that he approached the Titans about a one-year deal making the same money he made in 2019, around $10 million, but that the Titans weren’t interested.
It will be interesting to see what type of money Ryan gets from the Jets. I cannot imagine that he will get anywhere close to what he was making last year.
Ryan was a great player for this team during his time here - doing pretty much everything for Dean Pees and the defense. I will always remember Ryan picking off Tom Brady’s pass to officially end Brady’s time with the Patriots.
