The Titans completed their 6 man draft class over the weekend. Below is each player, linked with the Titans story on each player.
Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia
Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU, 2020 National Champion
Darrynton Evans, RB, Appalachian State
Larrell Murchison, DT, North Carolina State
Cole McDonald, QB, Hawaii
Chris Jackson, CB, Marshall
The Titans have signed a host of UDFA players, including ELITE athlete, Kristian Wilkerson, who will have a chance to make the team as a WR this offseason.
NFL.com says that the Titans first 3 picks will all be needed to be counted on as immediate impact players. I would be lying if I didn’t say I’d be disappointed if that was the case for those three picks, especially with Isaiah Wilson.
The 2020 NFL Draft set viewership records across the board this weekend. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there hasn’t been live sports in some time, so this past weekend was quite the release.
Overall, the Titans earned a B+ grade from NFL.com. After Friday’s picks, I had the Titans at a B-, just because I didn’t think the moves they made really helped them catch the Chiefs in a meaningful way, and I thought Wilson was a reach at 29.
That being said, I loved the Murchison pick the next day, and also the McDonald pick (go for traits in day 3), so the B+ grade is fair. When we sign Clowney in the next few days, the Titans will definitively have a better roster than they did a year ago.
Turron Davenport broke down each pick this weekend for the Titans.
