Titans News: Big Dawg

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans are getting even bigger in the trenches after adding nearly 6’7 350 lb OT Isaiah Wilson from Georgia. The former bulldog is a monster, and it’s easy to see what JRob likes in him. I did not want to draft an OT that early, but the sky is the limit with Wilson. If they can improve his pass blocking, he could be a stud for a very long time. At the least, they got another guy that is going to open up highways for Derrick Henry to run on.

The Titans need to get a CB, WR, RB2, QB2 and maybe an iDL throughout the rest of this draft. I fully trust JRob to be able to get it done, and some guys I like on day 2 are Kristian Fulton, Amik Robertson, and Tee Higgins. We’ll see if JRob moves around at all (I’m sure he will).

Our own Justin Melo interviewed Isaiah Wilson for the Draft Wire. Read the interview here.

Mel Kiper calls the drafting of Wilson a head-scratcher. He also says that in 2021, Wilson could have been a top 15 pick.

Turron Davenport breaks down the Wilson pick for the Titans.
