The Tennessee Titans have selected LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton with the 61st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. With Logan Ryan remaining unsigned, cornerback was a clear need for Jon Robinson.
Fulton checks in at 6-0, 197 pounds. As a senior, Fulton started 15 games for LSU, coming up with 14 pass deflections, one interception and 38 tackles.
Fulton also only allowed quarterbacks to complete 43 percent of passes thrown his way. Despite the stellar completion percentage against number, there’s concerns that Fulton can and will get beat at the next level. Fulton allowed 453 yards last season and he doesn’t have the best make up speed if a receiver can blow past him. Fulton’s one of the better press corners in the draft, but is susceptible to double moves and he can be a little late reacting to the quarterback. (Via And The Valley Shook)
He joins a Titans cornerback group that features Malcolm Butler and Adoree’ Jackson. With Ryan out of the picture, it will be interesting to see how the defensive back lineup shakes out.
