The Titans agreed to trade Jurrell Casey to the Denver Broncos yesterday for a 7th round pick. It’s pretty clear it is a salary dump, for what? We don’t know yet. There aren’t enough good things to say about Jurrell Casey, one of the franchises best players ever.
This was definitely a trade that stung when I first saw it, but it makes sense given the money he was going to be making and the increased role they’ll want from Jeff Simmons and probably DaQuan Jones. I hope Casey continues to be great in Denver, I’ll for sure still be rooting for him.
The Titans talk about how they can’t announce deals in the typical way they would.
Ryan Tannehill wishes Marcus Mariota the best in the future. I wouldn’t expect anything less, as the two QBs seemed to have a mutual respect of each other.

NFL.com lists the Titans as losers on Wednesday as they lose a defensive leader.
There are still a lot of good free agents available and Clowney is one of them. It’ll be interesting to see if the Titans make a run at him, given the relationship he has with Mike Vrabel.
